On Monday, May 2, 2016, a Missouri jury awarded a woman $55 million for ovarian cancer that developed after using Johnson & Johnson talcum powder products for feminine hygiene. The plaintiff ultimately had to have a hysterectomy and other surgical procedures in order to battle her ovarian cancer diagnosis.
